Dr. Song received
his undergraduate degree at the University of California, San Diego and received his medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences, CA. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Brooke
Army Medical Center
in San Antonio and fellowship in Allergy & Immunology at Walter Reed Army
Medical Center and National
Institutes of Health. He moved to the Pacific Northwest and became Assistant Chief of Allergy & Immunology at Madigan Army Medical
Center. As a U.S. Army medical officer, he served in Operation Iraqi
Freedom and won numerous medals for his outstanding service.
Dr. Song is especially
interested in pediatric and adult allergic rhinitis & sinusitis, asthma, atopic dermatitis (eczema), and food allergy.
He has been recognized for his research endeavors and his teaching abilities. He
is a co-author of numerous medical publications on anaphylaxis and allergy shot stability and has presented his findings at
many national meetings. He is active in the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology and has been recognized as Fellow of The
American College of Physicians. He has been recognized as Teacher of the Year at Madigan
Army Medical Center
and currently serving as Clinical Assistant Professor at University of Washington School of Medicine.
