Jannelle Fukuji is a Pacific Northwest native. She was accepted into the first UAA/UW Physician Assistant program in Anchorage, Alaska, ending a five-year stint as a Surgical Technician. During her time in Anchorage she traveled to several rural communities of Alaska’s beautiful frontier, which gave her an appreciation for diversity in medicine and in ways of life. In 2011, Jannelle graduated with a bachelor’s from the University of Washington and began serving the community of Anchorage in the field of allergy. During her time in Alaska, she was trained by Board-Certified Allergist/Immunologists.

When the days in Alaska became too dark and cold to endure, Jannelle moved to Oregon, where five more years of knowledge and experience was gained. Now almost 10 years into her career, she decided to move back home to WA to serve as the newest provider at Allergy and Asthma Specialty Service, P.S. Jannelle provides thorough and compassionate care to those that suffer with allergic conditions. She has a keen interest in food allergy and has many years of experience with the most cutting-edge food allergy treatments and biologic therapies for patients with severe asthma, atopic dermatitis, chronic urticaria, allergic rhinitis and eosinophilic conditions.

Jannelle is an optimist who sees each day as an opportunity to have fun, learn, be challenged, and make a positive difference in the lives of her patients. Friends and family are an important part of her life as well, and you may catch her out with them paddle boarding, beach combing, hiking, biking, shooting time-lapse videos or geocaching. She also enjoys cooking with her husband, practicing the ukulele, weightlifting, and teaching her kids jokes.
