She specializes in treating children, adolescents, and adults who have allergy and asthma. She has special interests in the evaluation and treatment of allergic rhinitis, food allergy, anaphylaxis, eczema, asthma, and hives. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and American Board of Internal Medicine and a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. She has performed research in the allergic disease process and its manifestations. She is a co-author of medical publications on anaphylaxis, amongst others, and has presented her findings at many national meetings.

Dr. Cole received her undergraduate degree at the University of Delaware with a B.A. in Biological Sciences, followed by a master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University in Biotechnology and then her medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, WA and fellowship in Allergy & Immunology at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and National Institutes of Health.


She then became Assistant Chief of Allergy & Immunology at Madigan Army Medical Center. As a U.S. Army medical officer, she served in Operation Iraqi Freedom.  She continued her military service and retired as a LTC in the US Army reserves. Throughout her military career, she has been involved with committees focusing on patient care and well-being.
